(365/5)The one they won't let me put away. I painted this ceramic ghost 15 or so years ago and it spent at least the last 10 packed away after our final military move and was forgotten. I spent a good part of last year going through all the old boxes in preparation for the move we were going to be making to Texas this year. The stuff I uncovered...seriously, it's almost like I never knew the people who once owned many of those possessions because it doesn't seem possible that those things ever belonged to us! LOL
This little ghost was an instant favorite of my youngest and although Halloween has come and gone he will not allow me to put it away. I put it away and the next time I walk into the room there the little ghost will be with that wide eyed expression of surprise like I've startled him and caught him out of his box. Makes me giggle. So it looks like it will be a little "Halloween-ish" in our house everyday.
